Although not for everybody, the SuperGuard is designed to be the 
ultimate spa cover. Exceptionally light inserts that stay light. 
This cover has a load limit rating of 500+ lbs. Note however it has been tested at over 1000lbs. 
It Comes with one of the strongest warranties in the industry. Backed with a 4 years warranty on the inserts 
against water vapour absorption & 3 years on the vinyl bag that houses these Super Strong inserts.

My personal favorite, Value, Value, Value. This cover reeks of value.

The EconoGuard was designed for the competitive market and hot tub manufacturers that want the quality of a Dorlon spa cover, but at the least possible price. Let me tell you there are no corners cut on quality from the InsulGuard. Everything done to get the price to a bottom line is esthetics and warranty. It still has nylon web reinforced handles, hinge and locks like the SG & IG spa covers. They just aren't as fancy of a spa cover. And only come with a 1yr warranty like most of our competitors. The underside of this cover is even a silver/gray to reflect heat back towards the water. Our competition just can't beat this one.

 Foam Core Density Factor

The biggest factor that foam density plays on a spa cover is its strength. You will get an increase in insulating value as you increase density but you also increase the covers weight brand new. On the other hand thickness plays the largest role in insulating value. Respectively there is an increase in strength as you increase thickness. Again, density for strength and thickness for insulating value.
