COVER CARE TIPS
Remove excessive snow build-up to avoid foam breakage. One foot of snow is the maximum that should be left on a cover. Ensure that your spa water is kept at the proper pH, ozone, and sanitizer levels. Poor water chemistry will cause the spa cover to deteriorate prematurely. Be sure to remove the spa cover when oxidizing (shock-treating) your spa, and keep it off for approximately four hours. Keep the hydrotherapy jets off when the cover is on the spay. Running the jets with the spa cover on can cause the inserts to become water-logged. A floating protector cover will extend the life of your STA-WARM cover, and improve overall insulation value. Replace the foam inserts if the cover starts to get heavy. Removing the foam inserts from they vinyl covering in an attempt to dry them will cause the vinyl to shrink, making reinsertion difficult. |
